Pittarak Sea Kayak with Sail and accessories

I'm selling my trusty Pittarak kayak since I don't seem to need an expedition class kayak anymore. It paddles beautifully, responds very well to edging and leaned turns and is a fast boat to paddle with good acceleration and glide.
The Pittarak is an iconic Australian kayak designed and built by Larry Gray. It has been used on many expeditions including the first kayak expedition of Antarctica.
The following videos by Larry shows some of the things you can do in a Pittarak, as your skills improve:

Length 5.030 m
Beam 58.5 cm
This Pittarak has been nicely customised and has a modified seat, which is a big improvement on the original. I'm 6' 1" tall with 34" waist and the kayak fits me comfortably. I did add a couple of foam hip pads to make the fit a bit tighter, so there is sufficient room for a larger paddler.

The kayak has a skeg and electric bilge pump, and a beautifully designed sail. The sail slides into a permanent mast step that lies flat on the foredeck. One the sail is inserted into the mast step, it is raised via a single cord and is lowered the same way. The only other cord is for adjusting trim. It's very easy to use, setup and also stow away. A ripstop nylon "sock" is fitted to the rear deck so that the sail can be stowed away quickly and securely.
The kayak comes with a cutom made cart (it is very small and stowable without dissassembly) that attaches to the keel on the stern. Also included is a waterproof cockpit cover for transport and storage, an old but still serviceable spraydeck (replacements are available via mail order from Electric Water in Victoria), fibreglass paddle and paddle leash.
I have replaced all 3 rubber hatch covers with brand new quality Valley units. They are tethered to the kayak they won't get lost when accessed on the water. The kayak also has an inbuilt manual bilge pump which is what I mostly use as it never fails. I will however provide a brand new battery for the electric bilge pump. I have also replaced the bilge pump switch (it was an external switch but I had it removed and the hole reglassed and gel-coated by Noel from Horizon Kayaks in Mt Kuringai. Noel could also comment on the integrity of this kayak as he repaired some gel coat chips for me as well). The bilge pump switch is now mounted inside the cockpit and has a waterproof cover.
I've replaced the deck bungies and given the boat a good polish so it looks really spiffy at the moment. There are a few minor scratches and battle scars but Noel inspected these and said they were not worth repairing (cosmetic only).
It's a great kayak, versatile for the paddler willing to learn and push themselves, elegant and efficient on the water and has helped me to become a better paddler. It was a huge step up from my plastic DAG Miwok, and has been a lot of fun to paddle.
